The Yambong Singalila range is
one of the rare spots on earth where the view
embraces five summits rising above 7000 meters,
amongst them Mt Everest, Mt Makalu and Mt Lhotse of
Nepal and Mt Khangchendzonga and Mt Siniolchu in
Sikkim. Trek leads through narrow paths adjacent to
Indo-Nepal border, sometime at the edge of the
jungle, sometimes through rhododendron forests. The
visit to some alpine lakes will give a blend touch
of both nature and culture which make the journey a
rare venture. |

Some of the animals which roam
freely in this range are Red Panda, Himalayan Tahr,
Blue Sheep, Himalayan Black Bear, and birds like
Satyr Tragopan, Himalayan Monal and Blood Pheasant. |
